Equity, Diversity & Inclusion 101

This training aims to give your colleagues an overview of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion to support their interactions and decision whether that’s patient facing or internal with colleagues. It will also explore the legalities around inclusion at work both internal and external, as well how to intervene when seeing exclusionary behaviours.

Why do we all have unconscious bias?

The science behind our thinking and processing
Acknowledging the impact of unconscious bias in the workplace

The impact on health inequalities and what are the consequences
How to challenge our thinking to make inclusive decisions and approaches

Reduced health inequalities due to inclusive decision making

Foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace with internal decision making and opportunity being fair

Create a workforce that feel like they belong to improve retention of talent
Enhance teamwork by gaining diversity of thought, creativity and morale

How can it be delivered?

Online webinars can be delivered in two ways
1. 15-20 people allowing for high engagement with speakers unmuting and breakout rooms
2. Up to 100 people with some engagement via chat box and quizzes
We would recommend up to 20 people max for engagement and to answer everyones questions.
We can do sessions for 20+ people but engagement/content depending
